Week 8

Theodore Boone: After dinner Mr. Boone set up a makeshift office to help a few homeless people with some of their problems. He genuinely enjoyed talking to them. Theo's tasks was to get all his HW done. His mom, Mrs. Boone, talked and met with her clients up stairs. Theodore live in a city called Srattenburg. In my opinion,................ this book is getting better!! :)

wEEK 8

Theodore Boone: The defensive people think that he is guilty. They have no proof. But they claim he is guilty. They think that Mr. Duffy planned this whole murder out. His wife was not injured at all so he must've choked her. The defense said that he had bout her life insurance saying that if she was killed, he would get 1 millione dollars, and he waited 2 years till the perfect day for the murder.

Week 7

Theodore Boone: Theodore wants to skip the whole week of school to watch the trial. The judge will let his  cops take him to school if he finds him in his courtroom instead of school. I learned that Theodore has a dog named Judge and stays in his office just about all day. Theodores nickname is Theo. Theo explains to his class mates on the board where they will sit in the balcony, where the judge's bench or "throne" is, and where the defendents stand.

week 7

Theodore Boone: Theodore takes his class to watch the trial. His mom thinks that school is a priority. He thinks that it is boring. He knows that he needs a good education though. He thinks that he is ready for law school but his mom says he isn't and has to complete high school first! Pretty goods book, but kind of slow paced.

Week 7

Theodore Boone: This is a very good book. It is very well written. It's author is John Grisham and is a very good writer! I just started this book and it is already great!!! This 13 year old boy is named Theo. His friends parents are getting divorced. His friend has to choose which to live with, but they do not like either..... Theo asked the judge if he could reserve 16 seats in the balcony for his government class.

week 6

Chasing Lincoln's Killer: John Wilkes Booth plans to kill Honest Abe. I don't know why, but he wants to murder him with a single shot pistol. The caliber of the pistol is .44 magnum. It's a muzzle loading pistol, manufactured by Henry Deringer of Philadelphia. He murders Abe in Ford's theater.

week 5

the giver: Jonas is the reciever. He finds out that he is allowed to lie. He can also ask questions and get answers. The guy starts with the first topic, snow. Jonas then was not allowed to tell his dreams.

week 4

The giver: Jonas realized that the womans eyes were clouded and blank and that she was blind. The new baby is cute. Lily thinks that its eyes are funny, just like Jonas's. She thinks he is SO cute.(the baby) The announcement that Jonas had heard was very humiliating.I personally do not like this book.

week 4

the giver: It was almost December and Jonas is starting to be frightened. He felt that something very terrible was about to happen. Then a rasping voice over an intercom said "leave your bicycles where they are." To be released means to be killed or murdered. Jonas was also very careful about his language very much unlike his friend Asher who talked to fast and mixed things up.

week 3

the devil's arithmetic:
Hannah and rivka try to sneak out. When the guards hear them and start shinig the spotlights everywhere. They hurry out. Hannah left the persons shoes, so they thought that it was that person that tried to sneak out so they cut off another one of the ladies fingers.

week 1

devils arithmetic:  Hannah takes for granted the things that happened in the past. She hates remembering the things of the past. She only likes the present things. She will soon find out to appreciate learning about those things cause before she just didn"t care. She is asked at the Seder to resite the four questiopns of the Haggada.

Last Day Of 9 Weeks

The hunger Games : Katniss finds Peeta. He is badly wounded. To the bone. She tries her hardest to drag him into the water. The water or stream is only like 3 feet away. Katniss blew up all the cartons and boxes of the careers food. She almost risked her life though. She went death in her left ear and then it started bleeding.

Tuesday: The Hunger Games- when the door to the elavator opens katniss sees npeeta in front of her and shopves him. She is mad at him. On his interview he said that Katniss was beautiful. He said he has had a crush on her for a long time.

Monday: The hunger games-Katniss says that the dried plums inpressed her most. Katniss is suprised at what she is wearning. Shea thinks Cinna is the best. Caesar wants Katniss to twirl for the audience. Then all the ohhhhsss and aawwwwssssss explode from the crowd.

Week 7

The Hunger Games -
Katniss  finds it painful to talk about home. Survival for katniss is second nature. Katniss finds out what hot chocolate is. Katniss and Peeta learn how to throw the spear. Katniss is not so bad at it, but Peeta, well isn't the best at it.

The Hunger Games:
 Katniss and Peeta are getting closer. I think Peeta is trying to make friends with Katniss for she will be able to kill her easier. Katniss soon pulls the covers over her head, as if it will protect her from the redheaded girl. She thinks she will enjoy watching her die.

Week 7

Katniss thinks that Peeta is just being nice for he can kill her later. Katniss was suprised everyone clapped for her during the meeting for the district 12 tributes. The 12 district's chariots  fill the loop of the circle. Katnisses new stylist is named Cinna. It is his first year  in the hunger games.

Week 5

Katniss just sits and stares out the train window.She threw the cookies that Peetas dad gave her out the trai window. She didi not want to think of Peeta. He was going to be her enemy in the hunger games. She was not nice to him, for she knew she was going to have to fight him.

THG - Peeta helps Haymith.  Haymith is still unconscious from throwing up. Haymith has no memory of the insident.Then the terain has to refuel. tbc...

THG- Katniss is taken to her jail cell where dhe is fed and is allowed to take showers. While she was waiting on the peacemakers peetas dad came to see her. next her mom and prim. next peeta. next Gail. Then effie trinket collects her to hae supper wth her.... to b continued!!!!!

THG- Katniss was terrified that Prim was chosen. The boy that was picked was Peeta Mellark. Katniss is wondering why he was picked, but she just couldnt seem to figure it out.Then Effie Trinket steps up and asks for volunteers. There is none.

THG - Katniss heard Prim's name anounced  for the hunger games. she was so suprised cause she only had her name entered in once. I think Gail will b entered in next cause he and prim liked each other. Katniss was so stunned she just stood there.Katniss's name was entered in like 20 times and Gail's like 40. so she was suprised.

 Katniss wears her mom's prettty blue drees to the reaping. Her name will be entered in 20 times. Katniss and Gale traded some fish and greens for soup and loafs of bread. Katniss doesnt want to have kids. Gale does if he didnt live in District 12. They both love to hunt and Katniss said that it is hard to find a good huntin pardner.That is the only reason and only way she likes Gale........ bout 2 geax ead ssssooommmee mmmmmmooooooorrr.

Hunger Games. Buttercup is guarding Prim. Katniss has snuck out of District 12. She retrieves her bow and quiver when she sees Gale.......

ia ma reading the hunger games. it is a good book, so far i am on page 5. the girl  sneekes away through the  tall fence to the other side. She meets this boy and they start talking about some town meeting. it was the girls 13th b-day and she was entered in like 12 times in this cotest thing. and this is how it all began........

where the red fern grows. Billy won the good looking dog contest wqith little ann. he used his grandpas brush and some butter to groom her.billy is getting nervous about the hunting contest. he knows how good walkers and blueticks are.......

I am reading where the red fern grows. billy's coons are the best in the country! so he thinks. he is entered into a coon hunting championship. he is so excited. billy is very confident in his dogs.more to come tom..

Where the red fern grows. Billy gets a coonskin and trains his dogs. He has some of the finest hunting dogs in the Ozarks. They have treed their first coon and are good at it already. His dogs tree this big coon into the bigest sycamore tree in the bottoms. Billy said that all his dogs had to do was tree the coon and he would do the rest. So he chopped and he chopped , until he had blisters on his hands and he was going to guve up,, right when this "mysterious" wind blew the tree over. It was God and he knew it...........(more 2 come!

DID YOU KNOW:
    If you catch a coon in a foot trap, 7 times out of 10 the coon will bite its foot off to escape rather than stay in it a day or 2! Talk about the will to live!!

Week 2

Where the red fern grows. So far this is a fantastic book. This boy named Billy who lives in the Ozarks really wants two redbone coonhounds. He thinks of ways to get them but none work. His dad bought him some traps to get his mind off the dogs, but soon later they grew old and he began to ask for the dogs again. He knows that they don't have the money, but he would do anything to get those dogs. The next day he crossed the river to see what some fishermen left behind. He finds this outdoor magazine and is thrilled. He looks in the back and finds the dogs for sale section. He sees the coonhounds that he wnats and they sell for $25 a piece, so he has to xcome up with $50 before anybody else buys the dogs.
